Our beautiful, gorgeous little girl, Anna, has leukaemia. She was diagnosed on Monday 5 December 2011.

Happy New Year!!

on December 31, 2011

Ann Marie, Nathan and I brought Anna home this afternoon!!

Many thanks to all the staff at the hospital for taking care of Anna for us thus far, and to everyone for their prayers, good wishes and presents for Anna.

We arrived back around 6pm with her medicines and 2 appointments for next week at RHSC Edinburgh.

To paraphrase “… this is not the end, nor indeed the beginning of the end, but it is perhaps the end of the beginning…”

Happy New Year to you all!

Hip hip hooray! Great news!! Delighted to hear the news, and no doubt you will enjoy the extra space of home, compared to confined to the hospital bed in RHSC. Its all a new challenge, new meds, new routines, new vocab even! But you are well able to crack on with it.

Life is all about change, some we welcome, some we dont, its how we deal with it that counts. And thus far, you Penmans have been nothing short of inspirational for the rest of us.

Happy New Year to you all.

    Love from the Wallaces xx
